Walls get painted over. Buildings come down. Trains disappear. Years pass, and pieces of Miami’s graffiti history can disappear with them. A photograph can keep a moment alive, but only if that photograph survives.
If you have old photos or videos of Miami graffiti, digitize them and share them with the Crushing Miami archive. It doesn’t matter if they’re from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, or yesterday. Pieces, throw-ups, tags, trains, and the spots where they existed all tell part of the story.
That old photo sitting in a box might seem like just another picture. Years from now, it could be one of the few remaining records of a piece, an artist, or a part of Miami that no longer exists.
Help preserve it. Share your photos and videos. Keep the history alive.
